        1. Yes I know! I have same reaction.
          I heard from some Spanish that it originally come from the time when the had so of that material they used to build so they burn it in the street. And it somehow evolved into a tradition or something… I’m not entirely knowledgeable over it. But it’s very beautiful to see it burn at the center of the city at that in different areas.

            Will ask my brother, his wife is Spanish and we’ll both laugh I guess haha
