Ok kid, you got the job

You know that a movie will turn out great when an audition alone is enough to give you heartburn.

– me 😉
“The improvisation was so heartfelt and honest that I gave him the part right there,” Spielberg told Premiere magazine in 1982. “I was blown away by this nine-year-old. Then I came to realize he’s an adult actor, not a nine-year-old.”

I first time I watched E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial was the year 2000, the film was 18 years old. And I cried a bucket.

I was attacked with so much emotion I have no idea where to feel my heart. This Halloween if you got nothing to watch, and is a coward against horror like me, then go and watch this film.

Have a fun Friday!

    1. Totally. The acting is so genuine, I can’t help but be touch. I think I’ll rewatch it soon myself.

      1. The audition was an improvisation so the lines are not the same ( I think) but the scene of the man coming for E.T is there 🙂

  1. I’m not a coward but I really don’t like horror movies….actually I’m in awe how come people can watch that kind of movies…🙀
ET is a great movie indeed 😉

    1. My thought exactly. The first time I saw from 1973 I woke up with nightmare haha 😂
E.T made me cry a bucket.

      1. Yes me too…My parents loved to watch horror movies and one time I have only seen a scene and I had nightmares and from that time was a NO horror movies for me, thank you ☺️

      2. Same here. The problem with me is that if I started looking, no matter how scary I need to see it through because I have to know how it end. 😂

  2. ET was made in different languages and the language I watched was hindi which in didn’t understood much, so I was not enough but understood the emotions through actions 😊 this was a nice movie to watch ☺️

    1. As far as I know English never gets dubbed in the Philippines, but you’re right, ET is a nice movie. It made cry a bucket. So touching… 😭

      1. 😍 Its such a sensitive movie 😍 I remember lot of people cried around me and I was like 🙄 um, why you guys crying 😅😂 and actually I had a bit of glassy eyes too 😂 Enjoy watching it again ☺️😎

      2. So now they’re less… Nisha is doing a good job dissolving them away I guess 😄

      3. Yes, One of a Major life lesson learnt after marriage, don’t deny 😅😂 and I accept it, and I learnt to even accept things I don’t do😂😂 and the consequences are the fun part of life 😄😂 Life is so much when you learn new things ☺️

    1. Me too! That one line made me love that strange being.
And I agree. I’m sure they got a stellar amount of phone bill 😂
