Lie to me

jessica larsen

Quoting Simon Nisha comment from Lying is an art:

A sweet lie is better than bitter truth.

A sweet lie is fine, but I personally still prefer the bitter truth than a sweet lie.

But there’s an exception to this. If I’m for example an old woman, wrinkles covering every part of me, hair is gray, eyes are weary with age, then please fool me, be my guess and say I’m beautiful.

The photo was taken during Fiestas las Fallas here in Spain. It was the first time I ate an apple candy. πŸ˜‹

    1. Took me a little time to recover from laughing. This one of the best comments here. It’s so unexpected. πŸ˜‚

    1. Thanks Weng! ❀️ I was told that I looked like Beth Tamayo a lot when I was younger, but Demi? Haha, I’m sure it’s just the angle. I think it’s the wide smile that fooled you πŸ˜€

      1. You’re welcome, Jess! I prefer Demi because I love her. You really look like her. I have been meaning to tell you but I always forgot. That angle made me remember. πŸ˜ƒβ€οΈ

      1. What? Samyak? You mean the same?
Oh my god, now you’re both making me embarrassed!

  2. πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€” do I lie or not πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”
You’re old? Come on now get over yourself Jess πŸ€“ beauty is very relative by the way so each person is beautiful in their own way as I believe and the smile and laugh are always attractive 😊

    1. I’m not old yet πŸ™ my is not grey yet. Not much wrinkles had popped either but when I become I won’t mind if grandkids said you’re beautiful grandma. And of course I agree with you. Just want to use an example

      1. Grandma? Your son is like 2 years old πŸ™„πŸ™„πŸ™„πŸ™„
Let’s stay in the moment Jess okay?
        Good girl 😁😁

  3. Hey Jessica, Enjoyed the apple candy for the first time, so did u liked it? Those are beautiful cute lies, Nothing wrong in saying those lies. ✨ Happy Sunday ☺️✨✍️

  4. Wow.

I think the last time I ate an candied apple was back when I was 10 years old.

I think I was at a circus or carnival on a fair ground when I had it.

But I remember it was quite good. πŸ™‚

    1. That’s almost two decade before me. I was close to 30 in this picture and until that moment I’ve only been dreaming of the candy (obvious for my happy smile) never tasted it again yet. Missed it now.

    1. Very true. Thank you Samyak. The apple candy great but I hadn’t eaten it since. Tsk.

    1. Haha πŸ˜€ you’re deep as ever cariΓ±o and clever with words. Thank you πŸ™‚
