I need a break or I’ll break

Hey guys! You might have noticed that I’m a bit inactive the last days (or weeks? I’m not sure myself). I’ve been out of it and seem to be on the edge of breaking down. After searching I found this from Our Goodwin Journey

12 Signs You Need A Break

1} You feel the stress before you even get out of bed.
2} You went to bed the night before feeling bad for how you acted or reacted to your spouse, your kids, your friends, your coworkers and so on…
3} You can’t sit still.
4} You can’t stay on top of the to do list.
5} You don’t ever have uninterrupted time alone with Jesus.

I don’t get that one and I don’t have a problem if I never have alone time with him.

Moving on…

6} You worry all day about everything.
7} You feel like situations are bigger than they really are.
8} You feel like things will fail if you don’t do them.
9} You aren’t even finished with the current project and there are 10 more waiting on your desk.
10} Your emotions take over before you realize what happened.
11} You just want to run away.
12} You feel bad for taking a break… and you haven’t even taken a break yet.

So, if any of those are true, you need time away.

That’s a big FAT YES for me. I have 11 out of 12. So there you go. I’ll be taking a break for a while. I’ll still read blogs now and then but I think I really need a time out, not just from blogging but life in general.

Hoping to read some great post that will hopefully cheers me up in the coming days.

Until next time…

  2. I can totally relate. Sometimes, our fast paced life takes a toll on our well being. In such a case, we should totally take a break! Wish you a great time. 🙂

    1. “Sometimes, our fast paced life takes a toll on our well being” So true. I missed lazy days.

  3. Oups someone is really exhausted 😕😕 hope you will have some rest and be better ❤️
Your fans will be waiting, what do you need more hahaa

  4. Taking a break, especially from writing as work, is essential now and then. If you do not there is a risk that your work can consume and then the stress spills over into every area of your life. Our families, loved ones, children, are all affected and finding that space to see the path more clearly is essential. I hope you do get that rest and peace 🙂 <3

    1. Yes, the saddest part is when it’s spreading to my family. Thank you so much David!
